Um um um
Art & Soul by Brittainy C. Cherry [YA/NA]
The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler (DIVERSITY! FEMINISM!) [YA/NA]
The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne [It’s kinda long/slow, but it’s so refreshing and realistic. One of my YA OTP’S of 2015]
Kulti by Mariana Zapata [DEFINITELY NA]
I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios [YA] (FAVORITE YA NOVEL OF 2015)
Lost & Found by Nicole Williams [NA] (one of my fave NA books of 2015)
Price of a Kiss by Linda Kage [NA. TRIGGER WARNING-ISH DUE TO IMPLIED STUFF. YOU KINDA FIGURE IT OUT, BUT IT MADE ME HELLA UNCOMFORTABLE AND BROKE MY HEART AT THE SAME TIME]
(THE REST OF THE SERIES ARE STANDALONES, AKA YOU CAN SKIP AROUND. BUT THEY’RE ALL IN CHRONICLE ORDER THAT FOCUSES ON A DIFF COUPLE)
To Professor, With Love (book 2), Be My Hero (book 3), With Every Heartbeat (book 4), A Perfect Ten (book 5). [Book 6 comes out this august, and the ratings for it so far said it was the best book of the series]
Cry No More by Linda Howard [Adult] (THIS BOOK IS HELLA DEPRESSING AND IT MADE ME CRY A LOT. BUT THIS IS MY FAVE BOOK FROM THE AUTHOR)
The Year We Hid Away by Sarina Bowen [NA]. (THIS BOOK IS BOOK 2. BOOK 1 PISSED ME OFF. READ BOOK 2 OF THE SERIES AND ONWARD BECAUSE BOOK 2 MADE ME CRY, BOOK 3 REALLY MADE ME CRY)
The Understatement of the Year (book 3. AND FOCUSES ON TWO GAY HOCKEY PLAYERS), book 4 isn’t as good as book 2 or 3 and I couldn’t really connect with the characters... so I won’t recommend book 4.
True Love Way by Mary Elizabeth [NA. Focuses a lot on depression, so it’s kind of a heartbreaking read]
Going Under by S. Walden [NA. THIS BOOK IS A HUGE TRIGGER WARNING BECAUSE IT FOCUSES AROUND RAPE, AND ISN’T FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. I LOVE THIS BOOK FOR HOW DARK, GRITTY, AND MESSED UP IT WAS]
The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen [NA. TRIGGER WARNING DUE TO FOCUS AROUND ABUSE AND RAPE] (THIS BOOK MADE ME CRY AND WANT TO WRAP THE CHARACTERS ALL UP IN BLANKETS AND FEED THEM HOT COCOA)
The Redemption of Callie & Kayden (book 2). I’d skip book 3-5 because it focuses on another couple in the series. I don’t hate the couple, I just hate how it’s obvious that the author prefers writing them than Callie and Kayden (and it’s obvious when this couple appears in like other series too while Callie & Kayden has yet to show up in other series). The Resolution of Callie & Kayden (book 6). [If you like to read in order, than I suggest you read all seven books. But I like Callie & Kayden’s story more than the other characters in the book]
Honestly I have so many books I prob like but I can’t recall them all. These are the books I read during my 500 challenge that I *heart eyes* loved. :)
Happy reading! :)
