The first thing I want to address is that you mustn’t imagine that things will remain the same identical way they are now. I don’t expect (as you said yourself it’d be impracticable) to have out and proud Harry while Louis still struggles to hold a rainbow flag (not that I think he’ll ever hold one before he’s officially out, though). His position will slightly change, especially under the perfect babygate’s shield. The Twitter situation would in fact be weird, but we’re forgetting it’s One Direction we’re talking about here! What’s not weird? The fact that a member of the band is soon becoming a father and none of his bandmates even cared to tweet a 20-character congratulation? I doubt none of them officially tweeting Harry would be weirder than usual. You do have a point though, when you mention interviews. Yet again, they are perfectly able to put together embarrassing exchanges as they’ve done lately on GMA (God, pity), but what would be the intent on selling Harry’s hot scandal for album promo and then have it barely mentioned live? Two possibilities here: Louis will already be at the point where he’s able to participate more or less normally to the jovial conversation and act as he and Harry are fine (then I’d expect his coming out to be very, very close in time) or Harry will come out afar from promo time, either before or after it. I wouldn’t discard an October possibility -still on tour, no time for live interviews that will happen only later in November/December when Louis would be ready to join- but a not so unimportant matter comes into consideration: current label and management clauses/wishes. At this point, with further confirmation that Syco and and all its attached bunch will be out of the scene in a few months, what time gets more appropriated for a public move that will draw in tons of visibility and money? November, when the old ensemble will be able to suck the last profit or March, when new team will be completely on and finally start to monetize their efforts? Ah! I can see it go both ways and still need time to figure it out. What I don’t think is (sadly) particularly relevant is what would be easier for the boys, so trying to decipher if they’d make a better use of promo time or break time to deal with the consequences of their huge actions would probably just be pointless. Of course going for the March choice would solve the problem of uncomfortable interviews, which Harry could attend alone or not attend at all, being free of spotlight obligations (if I don’t think he will have to, one at best and in a very controlled and relaxed environment, but I tend on none). Please, don’t see whatever they’re going with in a “fans couldn’t stand to see them doing this to Louis” light. No matter what happens, they both agreed on this and not with the kind of forced (and punctually fought against) agreement we’ve witnessed before. They’re okay with how things will turn out. Maybe not particularly crazy for them, as babygate clearly shows, but totally on board, because THEY know where they’re going. Nobody outside the fandom will be remembered of Louis’s past homophobic outbursts, the press will be perfectly instructed not to; act on it; nobody outside the fandom will even know that Harry and Louis are supposed to be enemies for life, the little they’ll know of their relationship is what they have gathered in these past months if they paid enough attention, which is they’re very close and even rumored to be together. Maybe the fandom will be a little upside down, but I’m pretty sure they’ll start leaving behind signs of Louis’s future involvement after the first few days of Harry Harry Harry; some minor outlets might even very, very subtly start sooner. I get that Louis coming out alone, immediately following babygate’s denial, is a very popular theory. I do get that and I even personally like it, I’d really enjoy to see it going down that way as an onlooker. That would even be easier because while I keep insisting that Harry’s coming out doesn’t necessarily out Louis, the opposite is quite true! So that would be a very simple, very fast process. Yet, I do not see as today 25th August any indication that Louis will come out alone. Trust me, I tried to look better into it, because sometimes I find myself wondering if maybe I’m the one completely missing on things, but I just don’t see it.

Hello :) You ask why do I think Destiel is similar to NaruSasu (or SasuNaru ^^)

I have a lot of reasons, but to make shorter:

(If you feel bothered by either Naruto/Sasuke or Dean/Castiel it's better if you don't read, or skip to the end, since I mention many things of both ships and I know these ships may be something many fans dislike very much >< I assume here you like one of the two at least :) )

I think they are similar, personally, because of the devotion involved in both relationships. The characters are willing to die for the other in both cases, and there is a deep connection that, although remaining platonic, truly is more than a mere or common friendship. Naruto cares very deeply about Sasuke, as Castiel cares very deeply of Dean. Dean cares very deeply about Castiel, it has been shown so much especially since season 8; Dean can trust Castiel even with Sam, his younger brother who is pretty much his everything, and he can ask Castiel for help with Sam and his problems when he feels completely lost. And while Sasuke may act indifferent towards Naruto sometimes, it shows that he does indeed care about Naruto deeply as well (in earlier Naruto it even was enough for him to die in Naruto's place [when he said that his body moved on its own]). With Dean it does show more than Sasuke, so I agree there is a difference, since he has even said to Castiel that he cares about him, that they are family, and that he needs him, but still one could sometimes get the impression that Destiel is one-sided in Castiel's part, as happens with Naruto/Sasuke, we could get the impression that it’s one-sided on Naruto’s part, since his actions speak more than Sasuke’s.

It’s all in the sacrifice and the devotion and intensity of the relationships, but I do agree that they are different, at least to a level, since while Dean and Cas have had fights and differing opinions, they still remain by each other’s side no matter what, and Cas hasn't become Dean's enemy for too long, while Sasuke did leave Naruto for a very long time; it took a lot more to return to Naruto (and since I haven’t caught up with manga yet, I don’t know if Sasuke is truly returned to be a good guy) And lately when Castiel deserts Dean, it is to protect him and his brother Sam. There is no longer antagonism detectable between Dean and Castiel, while Sasuke and Naruto may still have a friction (at least on Sasuke's part/actions).

Tl;dr: I think they are similar in the nature of their relationships in what they have shown to be willing to sacrifice for each other; they are both willing to die for each other in both Destiel and NaruSasu’s cases. The relationships are intense, well written, and powerful, though remaining platonic. Care deeply about each other in a way that’s not as simple as a mere friendship. (It may currently show more in Destiel’s case, though, but still I do think Sasuke cares deeply about Naruto, even if it shows a bit less. [Plus I’m behind with the manga since I’m more involved with the anime; I could have missed something.])
