1.       Which GoT character do you personally relate to?

None. No one in my family has been beheaded or turned into a zombie or eaten by a dragon. Frankly, I’m a little disappointed in them all. None of them have even tried to usurp a country.  But Arya (especially Book Arya) is my favorite.

 2.       Which GoT character do you love to hate?

Cersei, Cersei, Cersei!  Book and show.

 3.       If you could revive one GoT character, who would it be and why?

Oberyn.  Because he’s perfect in every way.  I still hope “The Mountain and the Viper” will somehow turn out differently every time I watch it. It never does.

 4.       When did you first get into GoT/ASoIAF?

A friend at work dumped her copies of the books on my desk and refused to take them back until I read them.  Only, I was so afraid of the books getting messed up that I ended up buying the Kindle version so I could give her back her books.  But I didn’t make past the middle of Catelyn II until I broke my ankle and was forced to stay in one place most of the time for five months. Now I’ve read all the books 3 times.

 5.       What are your top five GoT ships?

Arya/Gendry

Arya/Gendry (Jaime/Brienne)

Arya/Gendry (Sansa/Winterfell)

Arya/Gendry (Jon/Val)

Arya/Gendry (Sansa/Margaery)

 6.       What’s your GoT OTP?

Let me think… Who were those two kids that were on the run together?  The ones that could only really trust and rely on each other?  Oh yeah, Hot Pie/Lommy.  Or, maybe, Arya/Gendry.

 7.       What’s your GoT NOTP?

*shudder* Jon/Sansa. I don’t care whose genes they have, they’re brother and sister.  INCEST IS BAD, HAVEN’T WE LEARNED THAT YET?   Not a big fan of Jon/Dany, but at least they didn’t know and Jon ended it when he found out.

 8.       What GoT pairing do you secretly ship?

None.  I’m pretty upfront about the things I love.  Although, I have to admit when I’m reading the books, I do have moments where I can see Sansa/Tyrion or Sansa/Sandor.  

 9.       What your favorite GoT rare pairing?

Ned/Cersei.  Yes, I’m ashamed of me, too.

 10.   If you were King/Queen and had to choose one character to be your Hand, one to be your Lord Commander, and one to be your consort, who would you choose?

Hand – Oberyn Martell, because I want his all over me.

Lord Commander – Tywin Lannister, the White Walkers would nope back where they came from for another thousand years.

Consort - Oberyn Martell, I mean, really, who wouldn’t?

 11.   What’s an unpopular GoT opinion you have?

Sansa made the right choice telling Tyrion the truth about Jon.  Yes, she broke her promise, but the show has showed us again and again what happens when people value honor and vows over doing what’s truly right (yeah, I’m looking at you, Arthur Dayne and Barristan Selmy). Sansa was afraid for her brother and home and people and she saw that Tyrion had doubts, even if he didn’t want to acknowledge them. Oh, and she was right.

 12.   What would your choice for a GoT presquel/sequel be?

The Doom of Valyria.  Anything to do with Valyria, really. I would love, love, LOVE to see the origin of the Faceless Men.

 13.   What’s your favorite GoT fanfic?

 I would add Survivor’s Guilt to this list, as one of the rare Modern AUs I love, if WE HAD A NEW CHAPTER.  But we don’t, so I won’t.

 14.   What GoT death could you not bear to watch?

Shireen’s. It’s the only time I had to pause the show and walk away.  I still can’t rewatch it.  It’s the only scene on the show I can’t rewatch.

 15.   What GoT scene made you cry the most?

None.  I only cry over the last ten minutes of Where the Red Fern Grows.

 16.   What part of GoT’s ending made you the happiest?

The knowledge that Gendry is on that ship and that Arya is so bad at geography that they ended up at Storm’s End anyway.

Or that Sansa got the happy ending I wanted most for her. Peace/Wine/Winterfell.

 17.   What part of GoT’s ending made you the most upset?

King Bran.  Really? Really?  (Because I refuse to entertain the idea that Gendry wasn’t on that ship.)

 18.   What’s your favorite GoT musical score/theme?

Light of the Seven. Just, damn, it’s so incredible.

 19.   Who were you rooting for to end up on the Iron Throne?

No one (no, not Arya).  I thought it would be melted down.  Just not in the manor it was.  I think the best outcome in my mind was the seven Kingdoms splitting back into seven Kingdoms.  

 20.   Rate the GoT great houses in order from your favorite to least favorite.

Stark (duh)

Lannister (I know, but Tarth doesn’t count for this)

Tully (Edmure is a precious angel who deserves better)

Martell (they gave me Oberyn, if only briefly)

Greyjoy (Yara/Asha and Theon)
