Tag 9 people you'd like to know better
(am I going to really really tag 9 people here? Nope, but at least I can reply :D)
Tagged by @booksandabeer <3 thank you so much!
Last book: i am just finishing Julia Armfield's Private Rites and I have to say I am really enjoying it! Perfect book for me: almost no plot, just vibes, character study in a dystopian apocalyptic future, with some heavy creepy/eerie atmosphere. It seems something horrific will happen in the last chapter and I can't wait :D
Last song: Tori Amos' A Sorta Fairytale. One of the best divorce songs <3 (not really, it's just how I call it, but a great beautiful song nonetheless)
Last series: this 2026 has been really big on series for me, which is sort of unusual, since I try to not watch more than 2 at the same time... But apparently platforms decided to release an infinite amount of stuff I want to watch all at the same time, and so I need to lock in and try to keep up with everything :D !
The very last watched has been Monarch s2 episode 9, but I am also watching Daredevil: Born Again s2 (you have guessed that at this point XD), High Potential s2 (getting a bit bored with it, I may drop it next season, I still don't know...), The Boys s5 (I am so happy this is ending, it used to be such a good, acute and smart show, now it has this feeling of neverending dragging plot, has lost its uncanny ability to go ahead of real life events - well rl events have become a little bit too much, let's say that - and all the characters, good or bad (if even there's a real distinction anymore) are all unsufferable!), and recent addiction Margo's got money problems, which looks awesome so far! Oh, I have recently watched Beef s2 too, and it was extremely good too. Maybe not as fire-cracking as s1, but still an interesting social satire and commentary!
Last game: this will be short... none? I do not play video games or anything
Last movie: the last one has been Undertone. As an avid horror fan I was quite curious about it, and it didn't disappointed, not completely at least. Great sound editing, really tense and immersive when needed and the lead actress did a good job. The writing was a little messed and the ending a bit too much, like it often happens with horror movies, but I enjoyed it! Recently I also watched The Drama and Sirat, and I found them both extremely good. Sirat in particular is that kind of movie that will keep on haunting you for a long, long time. Great!
Tea or coffee: both! It's starting to be a little bit too warm here to keep on with the hot drinks, so I will be slowly turning to the cold/iced less appealing versions of both, but sigh...
Salty/Sweet: I am in my salty era, ig, but I will never turn down a sweet snack either XD
and now time to tag people... do not feel obliged in any possible way to do this ofc, but in case know I will be happy to read your answers <3 @missmorwen @certifiedstray @satlun @mrsducky @takadasaiko
