Binged watched @hulu’s #Pistol today…not enough sleep this afternoon. It’s a decent flick, a little shallow & rushed in places, a little overextended in others. #SydneyChandler, exceptional portrayal of #chrissyhynde (better looking too!) as is #AnsonBoon as #johhnyrotten (who comes across sympathetically & caring, as opposed to #malcolmmclaren or #nancyspungeon, who both come off as, well, rotten!). I wasn’t quite 14 when @sexpistols played @longhornballroom (1978), didn’t know much about the band except they were “wild”. My parents allowed me to see @kissonline (they saw behind the makeup) but ABSOLUTELY refused my pleas to see the Pistols! Eh, sod it, I got the record!
