It was sad to see anri’s absence from the anniversary sync patch story (or lack thereof heh) if we were to hypothetically get sync patches for Persona’s 30th anniversary or P5X’s 1.5 anniversary would they release before or after global gets chapter 5?
I wasn't surprised they left Aran out, since she hasn't joined the team yet in Global (similar to how they left Shoki out of the Twins Arc before), but it does seem like a bit of a shame she didn't get to meet Miku. Er, that is, recognize Miku on a screen, I guess.
I think it's reasonably likely (though not a guarantee) that we'll get another synchronous update for Global's 1.5th anniversary, since the first synchronous update was for Global's half anniversary. Timing those special updates for Global's milestones, in general, seems like it makes sense.
As for whether that would be for Persona's 30th anniversary, and whether Global is likely to have Chapter 5 by then... well, Global's half anniversary was celebrated in late December, just before Christmas, so I'd assume Global's 1.5th anniversary would be celebrated around then as well. Persona's 30th anniversary is this year, and festivities are likely to continue throughout the entire year, even after the series' actual anniversary on September 20th. So at the very least, the possibility that Global's 1.5th anniversary could celebrate the series' 30th anniversary exists.
However, the P5Fes/Wonder World event going in the other regions is already celebrating the series' 30th anniversary, so I'd be a little surprised if they did a synchronous update for it, too (especially since Miku already fits into that event better than anything going on in Global, considering she has her appearance from P4D). They've surprised me before! But I wouldn't personally count on it.
Also, realistically, even with them condensing the updates a little, Global is extremely unlikely to get Chapter 5 before its 1.5th anniversary, considering the other regions got Chapter 5 for their 2nd anniversaries. So if we got any synchronous update for Global's 1.5th anniversary, regardless of theme, I would not expect to see Aran there, either, unfortunately.
