Right, off we go then!
1. Do you like to cook / bake?
Now that Iām not forced to cook every day, Iāve been able to return to my previous love of cooking rather than see it as yet another chore. I do like a challenge, and seek to do things from scratch whenever I can; and am up to it (health-wise).
2. Do you have any tattoos?
No, none whatsoever, and have no intention of getting any. That would imply that Iād want to show off that part of my bodyā¦. Not a happy thought Ā *shudders*
3. Any pets?
Sadly no, but Iād love to have a dog again. Or even a budgie (aka parakeet), as I miss having them as a pet.
4. Favourite ice cream flavour?
I love almost every flavour of ice cream; except for tutti fruitti. Eugh! Please donāt give me that one. Given free choice, Iām more likely to choose strawberry, chocolate, mint, or a nice lemon sorbet.
5. What do think love is?
Oh my, this one is deep! Love has many guises despite being abstract, and is an expression of caring without selfishness or intention. You just want good things for whatever or whoever you love. In its ideal form it is completely altruistic.
6. Outside with friends or rather inside with a book?
Yes please! Oh you mean I have to choose? Erm. Most of the time Iād rather be inside with a book, but once Iām outside the house I want to stay there and make the most of it.
7. What languages do you speak?
Iām rather pathetic in this respect. I did French at school, and thatās as far as it goes, because I can count the times Iāve had to use it on the fingers of one hand. Other countries are just too clever at using English, Iām afraid.
8. Do you like musicals and if so, whatās your favourite?
I do; and my favourite is Calamity Jane, although Seven Brides For Seven Brothers runs a close second (apparently I have a thing for Howard Keel). I quite fancy watching a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film nowā¦. As you can tell, I really love the old ones.
9. Hands or eyes?
For what exactly? Iām confused.
10. When was the last time you laughed?
About half an hour ago when I read a comment someone had left on a story of mine. I do quite a lot of laughing during the day, come to think of it; and often entice people to laugh with me.
11. Are you patient?
I think I am, but hubby would say otherwise. Little does he knowā¦! Iāll admit that I get very impatient with technology that is supposed to work to make life easier (hence him saying Iām not because he often hears me grumbling at my computer or my phone), but other than that Iām very āchill about thingsā ā thatās the right terminology, isnāt it? At other times hubby says Iām so laid back about things that he expects me to fall over at any moment. ;)
