I know that this is a very ambitious project. Like super ambitious. However, I strongly believe that it is something that is necessary. Speaking as someone who is still closeted, I know how hard it is to keep our heads high and keep believing that we are able and capable of having a life full of joy. Full of beauty. Full of goodness. So often in media we are sidelined, demonized and killed. Our narratives are written by those that don't truly know what it's like to be us because they aren't us. But this project. This book. Will be written by us. For those of us that need encouragement, and for others that are in need of education. I want to emphasize that whatever stories that are submitted to me will not be shared with the public if explicit permission is not given. If you are willing for it to be put in the book, but anonymously that is totally fine. And if you are wanting to your name or URL out there, just let me know and I will make sure it happens. Lastly, hate that is sent here is not under the same umbrella of protection that stories are, and may be used. Anxiety culture is preferring anonymous posting even when you have a distinct writing style and some good ideas but sometimes you feel stress existing and go missing and that isn't great either
