Hello right back! I do see to enjoy the new Constantine show, and I’m currently on a lot of cough medicine so I’m not sure if now is the best time to answer this but oh well! The bi erasure of John Constantine sucks. It just completely utterly sucks. I could be hopeful and say maybe with time the creator and writers will change their minds? but we all know that’s not true, that’s not how these things work. This is a weird show trying to make it work on network television. We don’t even get to see him smoke, my god! I know that saying it’s on network television doesn’t excuse the fact that we’re not getting the representation we, or John, deserve, but this show has a slim chance in hell of surviving and I understand doing everything necessary to keep it afloat. Is it perfect? No, not by any stretch. But it is the closest thing I’ve seen to my Constantine on the screen and damn it, I’m going to support the shit out of it. So yeah, the bi erasure sucks so so much, and yeah they should be doing better, and we should be calling them out on it, and I would kill to see S.W. Manor, but I’m also just a fan of Hellblazer whose opinion doesn’t really mean much, though I guess I’m glad you thought it did anon? I don’t know, I don’t have the answers, but I know boycotting the show isn’t the way to go, so if that’s what you were looking for, I’m sorry.
