Yautja With A Shy/Scared S/O That Hides Behind Them

- Your Yautja is pretty much always holding your hand, anyway, so that’s no problem.  They like to have you right there next to them, where they’re sure you’re safe.  If they can’t hold your hand for whatever reason, they’re definitely holding on to some other part of you.

- The first time you get shy and hide behind them, they think you’re hiding from a threat and they immediately go into protection mode; they’ll start looking around for threats and baring their teeth at anyone who might be nearby.

- When you explain that you do that because you’re shy, get ready to see their brain stop working for a second.  They just...can’t process that much cuteness all at once.

- As soon as they get their brain back in gear, though, they’re going to smother you in love.  You better hope you’re not in a crowded room, because they’re going to be sickeningly affectionate regardless of who’s around.

- They won’t do it often, but when they’re in a playful mood, they might do something that makes you shy just so you’ll blush and hide behind them.  You’re just so cute, how could they resist?

- When you hide from fear, though, it’s a whole other story.  They will go right back into protective mode, and when they find the source of your fear, it’s getting destroyed.  Clown mannequin that startled you in the halloween store? It’s in pieces in seconds.

UMMM YES THIS IS SO CUTE

- If you do this at the beginning of your relationship, your yautja wil probably think you're not feeling well, honestly. Especially if you blush when you're shy!

- Humans seek out physical contact when they're sad or sick, right? And look at how flushed you are! You must need comfort. They'll probably try and mimic some of the caring and soothing techniques they've seen on your TV, like "checking your temperature" (though they don't know what a human's temperature should actually be) and rubbing your back.

- When you continue to cuddle up to them, they'll start to worry about your health. Do you need to go to a healer? Surely your immune system shouldn't be so weak!

- You'll have to explain to them that you're not sick, you're just very affectionate. Good luck doing so without blushing!

- As soon as the words leave your mouth, though, be prepared to get all the cuddles, all the time.

- Your yautja officially thinks you're the cutest thing in the world! I mean, he already did before, but now? Now you're 100x cuter.

- Now that they know you just want affection, they're going to go out of their way to show you love. You always take such good care of them, so it's the least they can do.

- When you wake up in the morning, you're getting hugs. When you're getting a snack, expect your yautja to wrap themselves around you. Even if you're in public, your mate will find some way to touch you.
