hi i know you probably get 100 messages a day on this but can you please stop editing peoples posts to fit your blog, its kind of disrespectful and if you want your ideas taken a bit seriously you could make your own posts, that'd end a bit of the hate flood
Well anon, although I appreciate your attempt to be civil about such an inquiry, that defeats the entire purpose of the blog existing in the first place.
You see, for years I have traversed this cesspool known to us as the world wide web, and in that time have become a self-proclaimed professional lurker on pretty much every site. Iâve been using tumblr since 2010 and using other sites much longer than that. Back in the day tumblr was just about 14 year old emo kids cutting themselves and making black and white flashcard videos, but it seems over the recent times itâs changed into what I can only describe as, a polar opposite of 4chan.
Itâs pretty obvious already, but I only really saw how blatant it was when I used an extension to change certain words to their oppositions (trans to cis, whitey to nigger, male to female, gay to straight), what I noticed was that iâd almost successfully completely swapped /b/ and /pol/ with the sjw side of tumblr, with only 1 small difference.
4chan doesnât take itself seriously, whereas tumblr does.
On 4chan iâd just see things like:
- You have 10 seconds to prove you arenât a white devil (pro tip you canât)
- and of course, an edit of rule 29, âThere are no men on the internetâ
Tumblr however, would give me such results as:
- Kill all women, sexism against women doesnât exist
- Die trans scum, get off my blog tranny
- Donât try and make this about you nigger, itâs not #AllLivesMatter, itâs #WhiteLivesMatter
4chanâs offensiveness only exists to seed out the weak and new-fags, the words fag and nigger are only really used because you canât say them in real life without a shitstorm following, had england be full of blacks and africa full of white people, theyâd still use nigger if it meant white people, and if homosexuality was the norm, theyâd still use whatever jargon was arrived for straights.
Tumblrâs âSocial Justiceâ isnât just mindless trolling existing to piss people off, itâs at itâs core just basic hate speech with the roles flipped over. So many people here have such an entitlement complex to such an extent to police what is and isnât okay to say, whilst at the same time contradicting themselves, then justifying themselves by saying itâs okay when âtheyâ do it. Do you hate gays? Well thatâs fine as long as they are cis and youâre a trans dinosaur otherkin black women autist from kenya. You can hate whiteâs as much as you want but donât you dare say the same thing about a black man, for that you have to pick on him because heâs a man, but if itâs a black female, well, youâre fucked unless sheâs cis.
So, the point being, this blog exists to amplify the idea that weâre just people, thatâs it. On the internet, I donât care about your tits, your skin, your dick that you cut off, and iâll respect you and treat you as an equal regardless of such minor factors, on one condition, you have to do the same to me.
The blog will continue reblogging and changing posts off all kinds of stupid (not just cis/trans shit), and finally, on the notion that itâs âdisrespectfulâ. Apologies for sounding so blunt but I am aware. I know that fully, but this is the internet, and I donât give a cunt.
