maybe nightmarefuel? some people can get really bothered by skeletal anamatronic stuff. That coloring really punched it up a notch in a good way.

Y'know something else you add to the that list of things Penders was good at? Killing off characters for real. Like, he axed Robotnik and (almost) Sally in the main series, then in KtE he killed off Mello, Valdez, Monk, and Lupe (different series, but you get the idea). Even Locke seemed to have been killed off at the start. Guess that comes with constantly adding to the cast.
I wouldn’t categorize this as a pro at all. All of these are either minor characters (Lupe, Valdez), characters who were introduced and immediately killed off (Mello, Monk, Snowpidgeon, Tobor), characters’ ancestors who die in a flashback (Aaron, Geoffrey’s dad, that dumb prince who got shot), or main characters who absolutely should not have been killed, and thus were brought back after all (Sally, Robotnik). The only exception I can think of is, like... Kragok? And who cares about Kragok. I didn’t even realize he was supposed to be dead until I read it on the wiki
Like yes, comics have a problem with reviving dead characters, but these aren’t good deaths that heighten the drama
(Also Lupe didn’t even die. That grave was really bizarre and mostly just like... a symbolic gesture? She was still alive, just roboticized)
