Final Fantasy XIV prints are now available as the opening of the RPR!! Big Cartel store!

Each year, BEARS CLAUS comes to Hydaelyn, decked in traditional Starlight garb, to see who has been good and who will be devoured for the next year’s hibernation. Big Cartel store. Printed with a semi-gloss finish at 8.5″x5.5″ folded, the inside is blank, so you can use it as an actual holiday card, or simply use it for seasonal decor.

While BEARS CLAUS is forever robed in predominantly Starlight-themed attire, the card front comes in the option of a “Happy Holidays” greeting, for nondenominational (and otherwise nonfictional) celebrations for those near to you. It’s happening again, again, again! With one of my favorite MMOs and Final Fantasy titles turning another year older this month, I’m once again offering the Adventurer Appreciation discount for August! For the entire month, all commission requests featuring your Final Fantasy XI or Final Fantasy XIV character will receive a discount ranging from $5 to $10! The rules are as always: the commission must be of, or heavily feature, your own character from either game. While NPCs may be involved, they cannot be the focus of the image. (We all know who that dude in 4.3 is, but he’s still not getting the discount for his own portraiture!)

Once again, the twice-yearly tradition of Final Fantasy MMO anniversary sale comes to us (read: you)! This year I’m actually able to get arrangements to attend the FF14 US Fanfest, so what better way to get a buffer for it than by drawing your own y’all. As in prior years, for the month of May, all commission requests featuring your Final Fantasy XI or Final Fantasy XIV character/s will receive a minimum discount of $5, up to $10! The rules remain the same: it has to be a player’s character as the focus of the commission, not NPCs or scenes. (As much as we all love Alisaie, she does not get the discount on her own; one of you trying to teach her to Hildibrand? YES.)

Just like last year, Adventurer Appreciation comes back for the anniversary of the Final Fantasy MMOs. 11 and 14 are some of my favorite games, so my particular celebration comes in the form of a big ol’ discount on other people paying me to draw their own characters. For May’s Adventurer Appreciation only, to celebrate Final Fantasy 11 turning fifteen years old and still going, I’m increasing the discount range to $5-15. This won’t happen in August when the sale comes back for the FF14 anniversary, so if you’re going to get something big, now’s the time to do it!

The same rules apply as last year: the commission has to feature your character. You can totally include an NPC in the request if you really want to be chilling with Godbert, but your dude has to be forefront.

FFXIV VEGAS FANFEST BADGES!

GET YOU SOMETHIN’ STYLISH TO GO WITH THAT ID TICKET!! ONLY 45* AVAILABLE!

I’ve been working on this idea on and off for the last month, and when I finally printed out the full test set of my raidgroup’s badges, they looked so amazing. And now you can have one too!

I am currently offering these character badges as an exclusive for attendees of the FFXIV Fan Festival in Las Vegas: printed on soft-gloss photo paper and tucked away in 10mil heat lamination, these 3″x4″ cards look crisp and sleek, feel damn near invincible, and therefore should not only withstand the rigors of being banged around against your body during Fanfest, but will also look great as an extra memento on your shelf or hanging on your wall once you’re back home! All badges will be signed and numbered on the back, giving you a 100% unique item to keep with you as long as you can physically have it around.

Badge commissions are a flat $40 USD, provided up-front via PayPal, for the full-color digital work, printing, lamination, clip, and delivery at Fanfest. As a cost-saving measure and because I will be at the event as well, this offer is currently only available for those who are themselves going to Vegas Fanfest. (While I hope to be able to, I’ll have to see this turnout and about international shipping to know if I will be able to extend this to the Paris and Tokyo events.) Currently I am limiting this offer to 45 slots; however, if time allows, I may produce more. I will keep a waiting list for customers past this initial 45, so please do not hesitate if you are interested.

If you wish to have a badge, please email me (shaezerus-at-gmail) willing to provide the following details: ・At least one(1) reasonably well-lit screenshot of your character, in the glamour you wish them to be drawn in, and the pose or emote you wish them to take; as patch 4.4 will be out by the time Fanfest rolls around, please ensure you offer a look you will continue to be comfortable with; ・ Your character’s name, server, and class/Job (all are acceptable, even crafters and gatherers!); ・ Any strictly necessary attempts for a relatively simple background element (if not, one will be provided anyway); please refer to the images above for examples; ・ Any special, minor details you wish for your character to have; ・ Whether or not you consent to be added to a PDF collection of Fanfest badge art in the future; ・ Pertinent PayPal information I may send an invoice to; DO NOT send me the payment before I have created the invoice. ・ Any further information about the character as requested, as it pertains to the work at hand.

Please limit your request to one character per player per badge. I am fine with requests on behalf of others, but do not take three badges to deck yourself out with your alts.

Disclaimer: ・ I will not offer a refund for your badge once it has been paid for; however, this will still be treated as a full-color commission request regardless, and all requests will receive the finished digital piece regardless of whether you will be able to pick up the badge at Fanfest. The item’s price is primarily labor, not materials, and I am charging what I’m worth for this. ・ If for any reason you cannot attend Fanfest after your badge has been paid for and printed, please contact me in order to arrange a way to mail your item to you. A bizarre, electromagnetic lifeform known as "White Noise" has been discovered within the neon skyline of B-Town. Preying on human emotional and mental dissonance, the White Noise bond with their stress to assume a physical form, slowly consuming the person the longer they are trapped within! Upon acquiring a body, the creature's frequency strengthens, hijacking broadcast signals across the area as the newly-corporeal terror rampages, sowing fear and panic into humanity and making them susceptible to further possession.

To combat these terrible parasites, they have been reverse-engineered: the combat system known as the TransMISSION Gear simultaneously induces artificial White Noise-like conditions within the human body while armoring it from outside influence. Augmenting the wielder's strength to go face-to-face with these monsters, the one known as "Mission" stands against the raging tide to free the precious lives they prey upon. As the war begins, humanity can't help but watch, with both White Noise and Mission airing their battles to radios, televisions and computers across the city!

It’s time for me to get myself back into the comics drawing, this time with a blatant tokusatsu sendup. You’re Live!! is effectively the culmination of an idea I’ve had for the last six or seven years, helped along by so many friends and serving as a way to further hone my art skills. An idea weekly schedule, though perhaps I’ll be toying with my work ethic to bring it out further in the future. Either way, this is simply a start-of-year announcement, and something for me to spend the next few months of free time working on before it’s officially released with a bit of a buffer.
