Keeping up with the other Furorems in town was something that was important to Fleur. It had nothing to do with any kind of loyalty to of her species as a whole – despite her deeply ingrained route that they would inherit the Earth above any other creatures and that there were no other species that stood a chance against them. Instead, it had everything to do with the church. Even if it was burned, it was still something that she needed to keep up with – who believed and who didn’t, who was a believer and who was a heretic. It was narrow-minded and yet to her, it made perfect sense.
“You must be new to town. I never saw you at Sanguinem Aeternam.” After all, that was the only reasonable explanation that she could come up with for why she had never seen her at the church – even if in the past month and a half, it had been burned down and no one had technically been in attendance. She offered a hand. “Fleur Chenery.”
