🥇 Who was your first blorbo?

I was gonna say Cosima Niehaus from Orphan Black, cause she has had a grip on me since I was like 14, and I don't think that will ever change.

But going deep down memory lane, I think it was probably Cerise Hood from Ever After High, which I was obsessed with as a kid. I used to think she was so pretty and so cool, and I remember sticking with my bangs for longer than I really wanted, just so my hair could look like hers (it didn't, but don't tell that to 10-year-old me).

🩵 Do you prefer to read the same tropes that you write? (Read angst/write angst, read romance but don’t write romance, etc)

Yes. I love to read angst. I love to write angst. Give me all the angst, always.

17. When you get a new fic idea, what does that look like in your mind? Does it play out like a film? Do you imagine lines of dialogue or a certain moment? Does a character just sit there staring at you?

Usually I have some specific scene or dialogue in my mind that I know I want to be in there. Most of the time I have zero outline or plan or even an idea of where I want to end up and mostly make it up as it comes to me.

25. Someone you know outside of fandom has heard that you’re a writer. “I’d like to read something of yours!” they say with sincere enthusiasm. “Where can I find it?” What’s your answer?

I actually do have a chapter published in a book on American bureaucratic ethics. I'll tell them they can borrow it. Or link them to one of the various reports I've drafted on our office website.
