THE CAST SO FAR
crepuscularlife as Klaus Baudelaire
anna-watermelon as Carmelita Spats (we won't need her for a while but just know that she owns this part.)
I'll be voicing Dr. Orwell myself. (as well as Olaf in the event that nobody else auditions for the role. Luckily, Shirley won't be as much of a strain on my voice as regular!Olaf, but.....I'm stocking up on butter-menthols just in case)
And I've got some of my real-life friends offering their talents. I have actors in mind for Lemony, Phil, Sir and Charles, but they might not be able to take it, so consider these roles open for now.
My dad has volunteered to be Mr. Poe.
Still looking for a Violet! I have someone who I really want to play her (girl-in-the-mask, aka violet-baudelaire-the-inventor), but she hasn't been on lately.
Also still on the fence about Sunny. I'm holding out for an actual child to play the role, but in the event nobody will let me borrow their baby for an afternoon, the role is between Anna-Watermelon and my niece.
Please let me know if you can't take the roles.
If you can- this is what's going to happen: Once I finish the script for The Miserable Mill (which I should get done in about a month or so), I'll post the download on this blog. Then, I would really appreciate it if everyone playing a role went out and got Skype (it's free!) and added me and the other actors as contacts, because that way we can talk to each other and do read-throughs and stuff and it'll make the process of recording dialogue a lot less awkward because you'll know how everyone else are reading their lines and stuff. If you can't get Skype for whatever reason, that's okay, we'll come up with something.
