And Then There Are Monsters....
Anna Hahn was executed in 1938 for the arsenic poisoning death's of 5 elderly men, who she work as a nurse. She got the men to sign, or in some cases forged, letters willing her money and property.
But Even Monsters......
Anna Hahn issued a pages long handwritten confession, days before she was executed at Ohio Penitentiary. She claimed to have committed these monstrous acts to secure the future of the one person in the whole world she truly cared for, her son Oskar.
It certainly would not have been Oskar's Father. It was her husband's suspicions that he was being poisoned that ended their marriage.
A good son to the end, Oskar made pleas for his mother's clemency until she was executed. They fell on deaf ears.
