This is a throwback post: Laman Seni Art Market was held at UiTM Melaka and this is the designed posters for the promo and event. Handwritten typeface credit goes to Wan Nur Khalisah, a friend of mine. (Sept, 2017)

The idea of illustrating Malayan Tapir onto jigsaw puzzle is to highlight the issue of this endangered species because of deforestation and illegal hunting. Simple lines, duotone colours and shape of Tapir has made it easy to execute it into three pieces puzzle. Artwork will be exhibited at Pameran Garau Alam, Medan, Indonesia this year. Size 10x10 inches, digital print on canvas.

I was requested to design a poster for an art event called Semai 2016, and was up with the idea of this illustration to represent the name of the village; (Kampung Durian Daun) which was the chosen venue for that event. Unfortunately it was rejected and replaced with other techno rigid poster.  Well, it’s ok. Thinking of printing this on plain white shirt and wear it to work :P
