I take *heavy* inspiration from Who Framed Roger Rabbit for Animelee, but that villain was less capitalism and more. Just a crazy dude who hated cartoons.
The plot for Animelee is still very much "animation industry is in a crisis, there are 12 animated characters who are having problems and the reason they are fighting (it being a fighting game) is that they're blaming each other for their failures. But the actual culprit is, of course, an evil capitalist who cares more about money than animation"
Is the villain way too on the nose? Yes. Do I care? No!
