#animatic project

If you somehow haven't been made Painfully aware of this project's existence by now, this is my weird take on the uncomfortable road from Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask (and Twilight Princess), in a weird medium sitting in between animatic and animation (I guess "story board" would be a better way to go about it) and focusing a lot on the strange dynamics between Hyrule and its vassals, especially during that time in canon, and the personal journeys of characters trying to secure their own agency in this world of myths and old hidden wounds (particularly Impa's, Ganondorf's, Baby Zelda's, and the unnamed OoT King of Hyrule which here I very much named and his name is Maddsen), well, it's here!!!

I also created the full soundtrack for it, and it's here!!

Ohh good question!! Honestly, so far, I think my favorite part was finding out that it's just a thing you can make. Putting footage together for the first time and going ?????!!! YOU CAN DO THAT ????!!!! that was genuinely a very ecstatic moment for me haha

(btw, I do encourage you to just try the weird extremely ambitious idea that's lying dormant in your head and that you feel shouldn't be attempted for unclear reasons. I don't know if you have one of those, but I feel like we don't encourage people enough to try stuff that is crazy out of scope and probably a bad idea, but who knows!!! some people need to be unreasonable to function, and I feel like they are rarely accounted for haha)

But otherwise I have to give it up for the storyboarding phase. It's just a very smooth and playful moment where you're just trying stuff out with low commitment, putting puzzle pieces together as you draw said puzzle pieces, and drawing them as fast and loosely as you can, which means you get very funny drawings and it's just a fun time all around. I'm really looking forward doing this again actually (and even if I ddddon't think I'll commit to doing the full scope of the story, I would love to have the entire story in a storyboard form like this. Just because it's quick and fun)
