@Regrann from @strength_in_struggles - I've been thinking a lot about this lately. I know what I want to do when my health starts to improve; I want to train dogs to become therapy animals that I can bring to hospitals, to visit patients. I know every time that I'm in the hospital, I miss my dogs soo much and it always brightens my day when I get a visit from a therapy dog. Before getting as sick as I am now, I earned my degree in veterinary medicine. My ultimate goal was to work at The Elephant Sannctuary in Tennessee. Working with animals has always been my passion. By doing this, I can combine my love of animals with wanting to make a difference. It definietly won't happen any time soon. I have a long ways to go until I'm able to do something like this, but it is something that I can do from my wheelchair one day.
