I have no internet in my house. I am managing to borrow it for half an hour and, instead of reaching out on social media or IMS as I would like, I am going to scroll through Tumblr for a few minutes because, as I said, I have no internet in my house. 

It is not tragic. But it is polarizing. 

During this time of isolation from my friends (and my translation job), I have agreed to record a series of video shorts. The themes range from dark to light-hearted, and are intended to give people insight into how a person can be hurt by the things they cannot control, and how to interact with that hurt. These videos are all about pain and/or how to understand yourself. 

First topic: Privilege (and methods to accept your own)

Videos will be released mid November. 

Let the record state, I tried Skype first and it refused to load. Hangouts, too. Even Youtube and Soundcloud won’t work -- just Tumblr and the local Power Company website. I can pay my bills and meme for just a few more minutes... but I can’t actually say hello to anyone. Such is my lot, this night.
