the Harbinger hums absentmindedly, hunched over his desk. ink stains his hands as he writes, a mound of unfinished papers and forms piled before him. the worst part about being such a high rank, he always grumbled to you, was that his subordinates needed permission for EVERYTHING, and that meant a deluge of paperwork for their poor superior. his pen nearly tears a hole as he signs his name for the umpteenth time, a hand raking through his coppery hair with a faint scowl.

you sigh, crossing your arms and leaning against the doorframe, just watching for a few minutes.

"Childe."

still nothing but an idle nod, scratching his signature into the parchment and setting it aside. your head tilts, contemplating- then a knowing smile blooms on your face, lacing your hands together and clearing your throat.

"Ajax."

you swear that his ears physically perk up as he whips around, eyes glimmering with a light that only shines around you. the pen and papers are quickly forgotten in favor of twirling you around in his arms, both you and Foul Legacy huffing in relief as Ajax squeezes you tight, burying his face in your neck.
