The first item I unboxed was the Cargo Palette. This is a beautiful nude and browns pallete that it suitable for everyday wear.  I liked the packaging and sleek design; I did however nick two pans unboxing! After further testing I found the formula very soft but on using on my lids I found them to be very blendable and the colours complement each other nicely. I find the RRP very fair; I have not used anything from cargo before and I do like this product a lot. It’s a pretty pallete to look at. I would definitely consider other products from this brand to try.

Next is the Liz Earle. I was so ecstatic to see this item in the box as it is my all time favourite cleanser! I use it everyday, and for me it’s a bit on the expensive side. My partner always moans when I try to hide this somewhere as he knows it is a little pricey; but i cant live without it. If you have not tried it then you really must. You apply this product to dry skin the wipe away with a clean hot wet muslin cloth, it leaves your skin so refreshed! Normally this comes with a small muslin but I find you can buy them for so cheap so this is not an issue.

Third up was the Make Up Forever professional 270 brush. This a is an angled eyebrow brush. I always love brushes in boxes; I know some people don’t like them but as I say you can never have too many and I always like trying new brands. I haven’t used Make up Forever brushes before, but I like this! I didn’t however use it for my brows as I happen to be lucky enough to have amazing natural brows, but I like the small angled brushes to apply eyeliner as they are quite firm and they dont move about too much… this definitely did the trick.

Finally we have the Aqua Liner by Make up Forever. This product is a bit of a bittersweet for me as I love this product but we had the same product in last months box. This is however a different colour and oh my it’s just beautiful! It is a bright jade green; and it’s shimmery and its just amazing! It’s my favourite product in this box. I have been looking for a liquid liner in this colour for forever and now I have it. Another thing to mention with this liner is the staying power; it’s just amazing. It literally does not move and the nib for application is great. I’m definitely going to be buying this in more colours.

The Verdict 

This was definitely one of my favourite boxes to date. I’m going to give it a  4.5 out of 5, and this is only because of the repeat of the same product from last month’s box as I personally like boxes to contain different things each month. REVIEW -RIMMEL LONDON JUST LET IT GO GENTLE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

I’ve mentioned in previous posts about using coconut oil to remove my eye makeup, and how much I love it for it’s ability to get every trace off, as well as nourish my lashes (I think it’s been helping them grow, too!).

But I’ve noticed that when I use the coconut oil, sometimes my eyes get blurry if a little oil makes its way in. Which is not a problem if I’m hanging out at home, or going right…

I love it; I love it; I LOVE it!

Otherwise, I wouldn’t be in such a hurry to write about it so fast. I totally adore this brush. From the moment I touched it I knew that this ultra-smooth, extra-soft, super-fine haired brush was something special.

After unpacking it, I couldn’t resist giving this wand a whirl ;)

So, I got my Maybelline gel eyeliner ready and prepared to see some magic.

And believe it or not I was totally awestruck by its ease-of-use!! I coudn’t believe it that I had drawn on perfect flicks so quickly and easily.

That flick has never looked better for me :D :D :D I was uberr happyyyyy after seeing the flick I just drew :)

It took me less than 5 seconds to draw on my eyes – And that’s saying something. Because I spend somewhere from 10 to 15 minutes on JUST my eyes everyday.

It is one of those perfect brushes that anybody can use to create the purrrrfect winged eyeliner looks.

I’m sure that with this brush even a beginner can draw some really good flicks and pull off bold eye make-up like the cat eyes, or the classic flick.

  The angle is just right to create a sharp end to the eyeliner. I could draw with precision and flexibility. And I did it in one take! (Goodbye, days-of-dragging-eye-liners)

The grip on the brush was exceptional. The wooden handle felt nice and light to hold. It was a semi-matte finish, so I could get a better grip.

Another great detail about this brush is that, it is thin; unlike the one by maybelline (sorry, Maybelline – you might be my favorite brand in everything else, but your brush really killed the otherwise amazing gel eyeliner) Being so thin, it picks up very little product – whether gel eyeliner, or powder eye shadow. So you end up saving on your product. Wonderful, isn’t it?

The dream – precise lines of even width

  It also gives that straight line of even width, which is really handy for both newbies and women-on-their-heels. If you are unable to wear proper eye liner just because you can’t get the even line, then you should seriously give this brush a try, before you give up on it.

And for once, I can assure you that you won’t mess up the thickness of your eyeliner. It is really very hard to do mistakes with such an amaaazing grip and flow.

I knew that Kent was one of the leading producers of make-up brushes, but only now do I know why. Turns out they have over 200 years of experience in brush manufacturing! Woaa…

This range – TWELVE – is meant for professionals. But I feel that anyone who is interested in a professional finish should own it. And I mean it isn’t much – Rs.300 – is affordable for such and excellent quality product.

And what more it comes with this beauuutiful packaging with a zip-lock. So there is no worry about damaging the bristles while carrying :)

It’s gorgeous. It’s agile. It’s super effective.
