"Oh, this? It doesn’t hurt me, I mean, sometimes it does hurt a little but it helps me fight off diseases and stuff.” Charlotte shrugged and motioned to the IV needle in her arm. It only hurt if she moved it too much but she had gotten used to the twice a month sessions that it didn’t bother her anymore. Shifting around in her seat, she glanced up at the IV bag hanging above her.
“It looks like water but it’s actually stuff from people’s blood. My mommy explained it to me, she’s a doctor. I can’t get up until this is done but we can color together if you want. I have lots of coloring books, this takes forever so I have to have lots of things to do.”
