Palette challenge for @angelrye, and a lil story to go with it.
He was lost, again. It wasn’t the fact that the academy was huge or anything, it was just that it was huge and he was unfamiliar with the grounds. The amount of times he’s been late to his classes, Dallas was positively sure that his instructors wouldn’t even bother to wait. Not that they did anyway. The young boy entered through one of the three halls into the courtyard, a place he’s heard other students call “Tulip square”. And there sat the oval plot where the colorful tulips were planted, the scent was quite obvious now. Dallas looked around, perhaps someone here could help direct him to his class. He gripped the small parchment between his fingers as he headed towards the closest student he saw. The metal mage looked rather distracted and when he had called out, his voice startled her.
“H-hi... Could you help me? I’m... lost.” Dallas stuttered and gave her a rather shameful and awkward smile. The taller girl looked over at him, her glasses glinted in the sunlight and hiding the look of bewilderment in her eyes.
“Hey.” She said with a smile in return. The first year looked his piece of parchment again, then back at the girl. Dallas started to speak but his words were caught in his throat, well this was slightly embarrassing.
“Uh.. uh d-do you know where Potions I is?” What looked like a look of relief came across her face, before she pointed towards the farthest entrance that lead back into the large building. “Go there, take a left and it should be up those stairs.” “Thank you for your time...”Dallas said, unsure how to address her. “Taylor Blevins,” “Thank you Taylor, I’m uh Dallas.”Â
