The Mile Racer Update - Weโve spent most of the week carefully going through 1500+ Malle Mile race applications! Here are some of our favourites, from beautiful race classics, wild customs, to concept sketches and boxes of bits, we love your enthusiasm (and optimism!). Race confirmation emails will be sent out next week. Most of you know The Mile and the nature of our โrun what you brungโ, โcome one come (nearly) allโ ethos, while trying to maintain a celebration of the inappropriate motorcycle and a celebration of the motorcycle sub-culture and the race that nobody wins. Therefor we have a hard rule against modern MX style machines. Most of you get the idea, the older, the weirder, the more custom or rarer the better! So there are a few entries on our naughty listโฆ the positive is that you can now fix up that old machine youโve been wanting to for years and your race place will be secureโฆ The racing side of The Mile Festival will have a few changes this year; with multiple tracks running in parallel, so that means loads more racing action and loads more fun!
