im not particularly superstitious. i dont believe in superstition or the supernatural. im not very spiritual or religious. i do think we influence our world with what we believe though.
often superstition is about control in my opinion. whether thats letting go of control to an other worldly force or taking control through practice and ritual.
luck is a strange concept. i think its more abstract because it isnt an inherent quality or a score to keep track of. a rabbits foot isnt actually going to make you more lucky but if you believe it is then youll notice more good luck or be more likely to take a bigger risk, believing it will work out. our lives are influenced by our perceptions.
ultimately none of its real in my opinion. its all bs made up by people to explain why things happen and none of it should be taken too seriously. sometimes it can be fun but ultimately its only as real as you allow it to be.
