@andykulter @astralwerksrecords #andykulter #astralwerks #astralwerksrecords ⠀ I am very, very jazzed to have my paws on three of the white-label DJ 12”s from Astralwerks Records and I am going to tell you all about this Andy Kulter 12” that I frankly cannot stop listening to. Astralwerks has been around for ages and put out albums from some of my all time favorite bands growing up. Remember Fatboy Slim? Air? Chemical Brothers? Placebo? They were all represented by this gnarly label and I’m leaving off so many amazing other bands but I need to save space to tell you about Andy. When they asked if I’d want to tell you all about these white label pressings I totally lost my mind and said YES ABSOLUTELY. They’ve recently rebranded and are getting back to their roots of putting out unbelievably solid music that is custom designed to slay the dance floor. If you haven’t already checked out the full line of white labels, please visit their website and do so now...they’re all limited and numbered and once they’re gone, you’ll really regret not picking them up while they’re 17 bucks. I’m new to Andy Kulter’s work but this 23 year old producer/DJ is making music that I and my peers would have been sweating through our clothes dancing our asses off to in a warehouse somewhere 20 years ago in something historians call “raves”. It’s house music, for sure, but it’s also rooted in more contemporary style and structure that you’d expect from some of the most elite DJs still spinning actual vinyl records.
