CRUISR rocked the TLA on Saturday night, playing to a crowd of diehard, hometown fans before shipping off for their national tour with Misterwives. Performing crowd favorites like “All Over” and “Throw Shade” along with some earlier, lesser known CRUISR material like “Home Turf,” the evening overall was high energy and magical. They were supported at the TLA by fellow Philly rockers Cheerleader and Cold Fronts as well as New York- based singer/songwriter, Verite.

Fellow Philly band, Cheerleader warmed up the stage for CRUISR, performing songs like “Sunshine of Your Youth” for an enthusiastic crowd. Cold Fronts and Verite also performed earlier in the evening. 

  Cheerleader is currently in the studio recording new material, so stay tuned for future performance dates. 

  Andy States of CRUISR expressed heartfelt gratitude to the packed house of loyal Philly fans at the TLA. “We’re going to play every CRUISR song ever and this is the first CRUISR song ever. It’s called ‘Home Turf.”

    Bruno downright sizzled on lead guitar and also wins the award for “Best Rockstar Hair.” (I am envious, Bruno!)

Kyle and Jonathan held down the groove on bass and drums, respectively. 

  With a combination of stellar musicianship, catchy, heartfelt tunes, and superb stage presence, CRUISR is the whole package and we’re so proud that they’re “straight outta Philly.” <3
