I've backported the latest Android Tools 4.2.2 from Ubuntu Raring to Ubuntu Quantal and Precise. The new version should support the latest Android 4.2.2.

We also build Raring packages in our PPA because we've modified Android Tools to also install 51-android.rules.

I've tweaked the Android Tools package (which provides adb, fastboot) to install 51-android.rules Udev rules, as suggested by WebUpd8 reader richiedaze. This file is added when installing adb from our PPA and is not available in the official Android Tools package from the Ubuntu repositories.

Today I've backported the latest "android-tools" package to Ubuntu 12.10, 12.04 and 11.10 from Ubuntu 13.04.

Changes:

Add udev rules to allow fastboot flashing Nexus7

Add android-tools-ext4-utils package ("sudo apt-get install android-tools-fsutils")
