here's the episode in question, if anyone's curious
you know i remember watching Lloyd when i was younger and there was an episode about a species of alien that is actually agender untill they reach a certain point in their life, at which they get to choose what they will be from that point on
the episode consisted said alien doing both generically 'girly' and 'boyish' things with both groups of aliens in the show on the days before they would 'turn' and enjoying them both
the episode ended with the alien not revealing their gender and stating that they will have to wait until they have a crush on one of the boys or girls
i also wonder what my pronouns should be, especially when i present paticularily genderless or androgyne.
'they' would be a generally correct and i accept it, but what about for parents? am i a son or a daughter? or is there a word which is better than 'child'?
is there anybody else out there who is also androgyne that has come up with a word better than "son" or "daughter" or "child"?
