With everything cancelled and everyone staying home right now, plus it looking like it'll be raining all weekend, I decided to start work on something that I'd originally wanted to make for WonderCon before that was postponed. The Swan Princess was one of those movies I watched at a friend's as a kid, fell in love with, and then didn't get a chance to see on my own for years, but never stopped loving Odette and her design (plus as a ballet kid, I loved all Swan Lake adaptations). I was trying to think of projects I could do with fabric I already have, and realized I could use this pattern and my white satin charmeuse I bought two years ago for a Galadriel that never happened, and if I'm careful still have enough for my #1790s round gown. The teal satin is leftover from something else, and I already have a wig and an underskirt for her, that's from another #andreaschewe pattern!
