"Kit. Traveller in time, vanquisher of monstrous entities, general nuisance to property owners and right-thinking individuals the world over," he said unashamedly, proffering his hand. I extended my hand but met his eyes with what I hoped was a steely gaze. "Howard," I introduced myself, "the man whose life has been forever wrecked by your cavalier intrusions. I don't think 'general nuisance' begins to cover it, Mr Kit." A slow, mischievous smile spread across his face, though his eyes lost a hint of humour. "Quite right," he agreed in a nonchalant fashion. "Shall we settle on 'natural disaster', then?"
