One of the drops in MvM (for any advanced mission or above) is an australium variant of a weapon. They’re worth quite a lot on the community market. (check backpack.tf). Not to mention the chance of getting a gold frying pan.

Yeah, Surplus Vouchers just aren’t worth it anymore. You only get ONE item per voucher (for a maximum of 6 items) but the hardcores have abused MVM so hard looking for Aussies that almost any item you get is either worthless or unsellabale.

This is why they’re groups of people who dedicate themselves to MvM (and beat it under an hour or 30 minutes). This hours of bullshit and terrible teammates for nothing is ridiculous.
I was lucky and had a team of pals but it was not worth spending that much time for no reward. I found better random drops than I did actual items. I got one item in the end of Mann up, despite having a surplus. Back when Mann up first came out, I swear I got like 4-5 items by the end.
