- NINE YEARS - 

Love at first sight, he never asked for it.

He became a friend, in love with someone else.

He always got what he wanted. It didn’t work.

It wasn't him. A green-eyed monster attacked his friend.

He lost his friend, who never loved him back.

He lost his light, his hope and then himself.

Curly hair, golden eyes, a boy he couldn't forget.

He lost a boy, and then found a man. 

“Soooo, did you have a good time?” Sonny asks, a grin similar to that of a Chesire cat. Sebastian wants the ground to swallow him whole. He doesn’t get embarrassed easily, or ever really, but he feels like he wants to keep this to himself, to avoid disappointment down the line.

Sebastian turns to face Sonny, a warning look on his face. “Don’t start,” he says. How can one person be so insufferable? Sebastian has only just opened the door, no hello, no nothing. “I’ll shut this door in your face,” he warned.

Sonny pouts, of course, but pushes his way into Sebastian’s apartment. “You did, though, right?” he asks as he takes his coat off and makes himself at home.

The thing is, he did, but he doesn’t want to say it out loud, doesn’t dare, because in the moment, when it was just him and Blaine he loved every second, he had no doubts running around his head. Two days later, however, he let himself overthink. They haven’t officially planned a second date and he’s wondering if Kurt broke Blaine’s heart and Sebastian is a rebound. He has no idea how long Kurt and Blaine have been broken up - he doesn’t know if it being a short period of time or a long period of time would be worse.

“What’s going on with you and Sam?” Sebastian asks, trying to defer the conversation away from his and Blaine’s date.

Sonny looks like a deer caught in headlights and Sebatsian can’t help but smirk.
