“I’d love to meet your best friend, sir. Is this her?” Andersmith gestured to Carolina who was awkwardly standing behind Caboose.

Caboose was quick to cut Carolina off, “No! She’s just the nice lady who carries him around.”
Andersmith was confused but intrigued as Caboose called for his friend.
“This is Church!” Caboose bounced as the AI appeared.
“What the fuck Caboose? I told you I’m not your show and tell project,” Alpha glared at his teammate.
“He’s great. Isn’t he?!” Caboose ignored the berating and Andersmith admired that.
The lieutenant studied the AI for a moment.
Alpha crossed his arms and turned his attention to the man staring at him, “Want to take a picture, buddy? Not really appreciating the stares.”
“Apologies. I’ve just never met someone so fascinating before,” Andersmith bowed his head slightly to show he was truly sorry. Alpha was suspicious still but lowered his arms. It had been a long time if ever he had someone refer to him as a person besides the Reds and Blues.
