I love award season! I get inspired by hair! This year did not disappoint, but I have to say that one stood out to me more than the rest, why? It was different, fashion forward, edgy yet pretty, textured and done on a BOB! All the thing's I love about an up-do all in one! I just had to re-create this look on my daughter Andelyn and hope to do so on a bridesmaid or bride if they let me :)

Now before I start this tutorial remember this was done on a bob, so it's going to be slightly different on long hair, especially Andelyn's crazy long hair. This will show you how versatile this hair-do really is and how you can achieve it on your own for a little night out. 

Start by sectioning off the hair just at the top of the crown and start teasing it in 1 inch sections about 4 time's. 

 Twist this hair up, pin and set aside for a minute

Split remainder hair in half and pull tight (you can twist the sides back to make it more textured and messy or leave straight) Do the same with the bottom half of hair so you have 2 ponytails. Tease hair slightly. 

 Start twisting the hair into a figure 8, depending on how much hair you have this might be smaller. Secure with wide hair pins. If you only have bobby pins than you can open them a little wider with your mouth. 

 Do the same with the bottom pony. When finished pick up teased hair on top of head

Twist top section back at a point, pin and loop like a bun.
