I think people will like Phineas a little bit better in the rewrite of this section of Seasons. This is something I wanted to change, because Phineas's character is shown through everyone else's POV. The reader doesn't get his thoughts, his conflicts, and even the confrontations he has with Vivian. I'm pretty excited to share what's coming up, since this Phineas chapter was one of the first things I started adding when I started revising the story! Even before some of the early chapter additions. (I'm only just now finishing it up, tho, and I ended up rewriting most of what I originally had like... two years ago?) Damn. What a journey this story has become. There's a LOT of Vivian and Phineas coming up in addition chapters as well, and I'm hoping to show more of other things regarding the orchard. (That said, new drinking game: take a shot whenever Phineas gets really worried about Cole in his POV...)
