I am once again writing a mini fic about a thing that happened in Masters. First Leon, now N, except I am a proud mother( even though I'm younger).
Summary: Alexis is at his fucking limit.
Notes: I actually don't know if N with Reshiram is a sygna suit pairing or not, so in this fic I'm going to assume that it is. This is gonna be pretty ooc for N too. Oh and this isn't a ship. Enjoy :)
A month. One month. One single month from the whole Leon Sygna Suit incident. But he's over that. It's not like he have been staring at the man longer than he'll like to admit. Of course not! But this? This one's different.
Sygna suits are quite the hot topic around here in Pasio, so Alexis isn't too surprised when people like Cynthia, Elesa, and Grimsley decided to get one. There was a point where he thought to get one himself. So N's new look isn't the thing that's bothering him. In fact he's glad that N decided to spice things up a bit, try something he hasn't really done before. It shows how more comfortable he is with himself and the world around him. That's great!
The problem is Reshiram.
"N." The older man averted his eyes, sheepishly smiling while playing with his fingers. He knows that he's guilty. He knows it. Alexis can't help but be thankful that he isn't acting like Leon one month ago. Acting innocent and oblivious to the things he was literally doing just then.
" Whatcha got there?" Behind N was, of course, Reshiram. The legendary that first chose him all that time ago before N giving it up to Eva. It's face betrays little emotion, though it is standing very close to N, it's wings hovering over his tall body.
" .... Reshiram," N mutters, finally looking at Alexis. Well. Looking down. But that's not the point.
"Mhm. N?"
"Y-yeah"
"What was the pokemon that was your sync pairs before?"
"Zekrom.... But you said it was okay for me to use Storm!" The name of it's partner in crime caused Reshiram to pert up a little .
" That I did, but only because I thought Storm would be your sync pair in the long run. Apparently not!" Alexis points to Reshiram, Fiera as Eva calls it.
" And now your telling me that Fiera, the pokemon you decided to let go and let it choose Eva, is once again your partner?!"
N is silent for a minute, probably choosing his words very carefully. Or at least that's what Alexis wants, cause right now N looks like he's trying really hard no to laugh.
" Ok, but I have a really good explanation for this." N voice sounds like he's holding back a laugh so bad. Alexis raises brow. He has a feeling where this going.
" In my defense," he snickers to himself, " It was funny,"
Once the words fall out of N's mouth, Alexis took a long exasperated sigh, and puts his hands to his face. Arcues damn it Elliot.
" I hate you," he mutters, only causing N ti release his hidden laughter. Alexis takes everything back from earlier. Both N and Leon are little shits and the know it.
"Nooooo, Alexis, nooooo" N giggles coming in for a hug.
" No. Get away from me. No" Alexis says half-heartedly, not even attempting to get away from N's embrace. It's crazy to think that at one point, both of them strictly refused to touch each other. Now you would find them sharing a couch together watching corny movies, vibing. Crazy.
"My brother, oh how I have dishonored you! Will you ever forgive me?" N jokes, even pulling of a fake Galarian accent. Little Shit.
" If your calling me a little shit in your head, I must tell you that I am very much not 'little',".
Bastard
" I hate you. Get away from me," Alexis says as he tries to pull away from N's "brotherly hug", but N is surprisingly strong.
" Nooooooo, brother please-"
"No!"
"Brother-"
Reshiram( Fiera), who has been watching thus interaction unfold, suddenly moved behind the two, and wrapped it's wings around them. A hug. It's really warm, but now Alexis can't escape N's hug. Great.
So giving up, the two of them just stay there. A hug within a hug. It's really nice, even if they're all standing. Soon N speaks up.
"You know Zekrom-Storm- misses you right?"
"It does?" Alexis hums. It shouldn't surprise him. Storm did choose him to be it's Hero. But it does still.
" Yeah. It's been watching you here in Pasio. Seeing you battle. Seeing you have fun. It's proud of you, but still kinda feels left out,". Despite all that had happened, it still confuses Alexis why his pokemon love and adore him as they do. Why they would ever want to be with him. So Alexis' first instinct was to deny it. N was a better trainer than he is, making sure his pokemon didn't get hurt. Zekrom should be with him that with Alexis, despite all the fuss he made about it earlier.
But there's a small part of him that misses Zekrom as well. There was a sense of self-worth that flooded him when Storm first appeared. That, yes, he was good enough, despite the pain he's been through. It feels....nice to know that Zekrom feels the same. Besides, N wouldn't lie about there's type of things now would he?
" It thinks your a good trainer, and you are!" N emphasizes, pinching Alexis' cheek for good measure.
"Yeah,yeah......thanks" a small smile appears on his face.
" If you want to, you could make a sync pair with with it. Maybe get a Sygna Suit....."
Alexis would be lying if he hadn't thought about it. It wouldn't be a terrible idea....though he does need to check in with Kai, his Samurott.
" I....guess it wouldn't be bad.."
" Yeah! And if you get a Sygna Suit, then it'll be Leon's turn to stare-"
"N!"
