March is one of those people. One guy on campus discovered that his girlfriend hit on March at a frat party, and they ended up going home together. So, he sent Healy after him.
After that, they kept bumping into eachother on campus, and learned they had a couple shared classes as Healy's major is also criminology.
They end up getting closer after classwork forces them to, and they solve mysteries revolving around homework assignments and campus shenanigans, and Healy finds himself falling for the sad single father with an exceptionally bright toddler, and Healy ends up being what gets March through his final year.
March helps Healy finish up after he's graduated, and he ends up falling for the man who is patient with his bullshit and cares for his daughter almost as if she was his own.
