Hey, I have a question I am curious to know your opinion(and the opinion of the other LoZ fans out there) about. How would you feel about there ever being a Zelda title where that game's incarnations of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf were siblings? I myself feel like it'd make a good set up for the inevitable conflict and it would raise the personal stakes for our heroes. And it'd be a concept never implemented before. But I want to know what you think ^^
I can’t answer for the other fans out there but here is my opinion (that I’ll get roasted for, almost guaranteed).
Ganon has never been the same race as Link and Zelda. They could be half-bro and half-sis but that’s not your question and just isn’t logical.
Link and Zelda, even though they are the same race, have never been brother and sister EVER! (Thank God). That is one of the pieces that makes the Zelda games great (IMO).
Say that they are related and have their pieces of the Triforce…..then what? If they have grown up together, they wouldn’t just outright kill one another for the other two pieces of the Triforce (Ganon mostly). Unless there is an outside evil, it doesn’t add up.
So, to sum it all up, it sounds like an idea that doesn’t make sense to connect similarly to other Zelda titles and wouldn’t make a good Zelda game at all. But that’s were fanfiction comes in. Â
