Taylor has always been known for her incredible storytelling and I think that’s why people are so drawn to this album because not only is it so obviously steeped in her own stories, but she’s able to illustrate the perspective of others that maybe they’d never heard.

It’s Nice To Have A Friend was the transition song from lover into the folklore/evermore era. my brain is too tired to elaborate, you just get it or you don’t.
