#this is a pointless argument because we will never agree #but i think it is unfortunate #that affection has to be so limited #and that you are only allowed to love in very rigid ways #and boxes #also for the record i don't think remus cheated #i think its complicated #but i also don't think he had a whole lot of choice or control over that situation #and “cheating” implies a certain amount of idk decision making i think #remus doesn't do anything intentionally #he doesn't think what is happening with sirius is romantic because he doesn't think that's possible between them #it's only looking back on it #like he does in chapter 18 #that he realizes he was wrong #and he does accept that he was wrong #but that just isn't really cheating to me #it's like i handled a situation poorly because i didn't fully understand it #i think monogamy and control are often times confused #and that you shouldn't have to limit every other relationship in your life #obviously conversations need to be had #but #anyone who tells you you can't give your bff a lil kiss (which was LITERALLY described as platonic) when they are sad #is a dick in my opinion #soph rambles #kyd
