Ik this is mentioned SOMEWHERE in Holding, but what are Andre and Nick's jersey numbers in the NHL?

Nick is pretty easy, blond hair, blue eyes, white boy from the suburbs, he is fit but he's a bit on the slender side (still a hockey player / elite athlete so not thin but lean maybe?? lol idk if there is a difference between those things - he is only thin by comparison to other hockey players not when compared to regular 18 year old boys), everything about nick is stiff, and controlled and cold
like this but younger and less filled out (lol hi nate)
Andre has tanned skin, brown eyes, brown hair (not curly exactly but like, wavy, thick, i think i describe it curling around his temples a couple times, it has some sort of texture to it), two inches taller than Nick (lol), and also just generally a little bigger (broader shoulders, more muscle, tho still only 18 so like, not crazy huge or anything, but noticeably stronger looking than Nick - i only point this out cause it plays a lot into like Nick's insecurities, his father's criticisms, and also why Andre ends up being picked first both in the OHL draft and also the NHL, but Nick isn't "small" it's more just like a 'extreme pressures/expectations of professional hockey' thing OKAY SORRY I WILL STOP TRYING TO OVER EXPLAIN MYSELF), dimples, Andre is warm
i do not have a real life reference for Andre i fear :(
but truly feel free to interpret the characters however you see them, im more of a vibes guy than i am a specific physical appearance guy
please tell me my babies continue to speak next chapter…. like they need more time, andre needs more time with nick and nick does too

Interesting that Nick has said he loves Andre twice now… cracks appearing in the facade
cracks are definitely appearing, this injury is a really big turning point for nick BUT the "i love yous" are kind of a spiralling stream of consciousness slip-up and less like a really conscious acceptance/decision on his part (at least at this point)
did andre ended up talking to the cops about that night? i dont remember it being mentioned later in his pov

Andre did talk to the cops yes!
It'll come up later! just because of the way the povs worked out there didn't really feel like a natural way to bring it up, it also wasn't going to really give us any new information
but Andre can only tell the cops that the situation felt bad to him, but he missed a lot of went down that night, his statement helps but it isn't 100% irrefutable proof that a crime was committed, so it doesn't force the cops to act if they already aren't motivated to

when are Nick and Andre’s birthdays?
uhhh technically both their birthdays fall somewhere between sept. 16th and like Dec. 8th SO in the last few chapters they have both turned 19 and i have failed to mention that because i am terrible with dates :((((

no worries at all if you don't want to answer this for whatever reason but I'm very curious - what are cross and nemkov thinking the deal is with nick and andre atm?
SO generally, i assume men, especially men who play hockey, lack a lot of emotional intelligence and also are pretty self involved,
meaning that like, even though Andre and Nick stir up a lot of feelings ™ for Clarke, Nemkov and Cross they are a) not all 100% able to label and understand those feelings and b) don't assume Nick and Andre are having the same feelings
i always imagine all of these men to be working with layers of repression
and shockingly, I actually think Nick and Andre are significantly closer to being honest with themselves than C/N/C ever have been, which is its own dynamic, BUT, in any case, they look at them and they feel something, but they aren't necessarily acknowledging or delving deeply into what any of those feelings are, at least not yet (BTW none of this diminishes what Cross feels for Emma, that is not a fake relationship, it's just . . . complicated. Everything is complicated. Nemkov is also married with kids SO)
honestly the more i think about them the more i'm like, they're not a prequel they're a sequel but with flashbacks throughout (anyway we shall focus on one story at a time)
