I fuckign hate people who say "my culture isn't your costume" to trans people because those are the same people buying Māori Kākahu (garments) for cheap online that were made in sweat shops for kids as a "Halloween costume."
If you wanna wear māori Kākahu please just do your research and ask yourself, what are you really wearing it for. As a costume, or as clothing for a ceremony, for casual wear, maybe for a haka, a dance. It's so disheartening seeing my culture sold for cheap as a costume when its such a beautiful culture that is for all to enjoy.
And for the love of God stop using that term directed at trans people gender isn't a fucking culture get your heads outta your asses dungi
