#2609 - Anaphalioides bellidioides - New Zealand Everlastingflower
Originally described as Xeranthemum bellidioides as 1786, but also as various Helichrysum bellidioides subspecies , Gnaphalium bellidioides, Helichrysum prostratum, Gnaphalium prostratum, and Anaphalis prostrata.
The current binomial refers to it's resemblence to the the Pearly Everlasting Anaphalis and the archetypal daisy Bellis perrenis.
A shrub found over much of Aotearoa, although most often in alpine and subalpine open grasslands and cooler climates.
