2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?
Zeus is a mommy’s boy. He cares a lot about his mother, and would do nearly anything for her, and she’s taught him a fair bit about ruling. HOWEVER-- he does still feel a slight bitterness towards her for what happened to him and his siblings. He doesn’t blame her for what happened, but he just wishes she had acted sooner. That bitterness comes out when they’ve been apart a while, but usually goes away when they’re together.
12. How does their education and intelligence – or lack thereof - reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciations?
Zeus is a very intelligent man who has grown to be very eloquent in his time. He has a way with words that I feel I don’t portray well enough in my writing. But he’s persuasive, calculated, and often sounds a bit pretentious with how exaggerated and precise his he is with his words.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
Zeus doesn’t have a lot of friends--- but the few who make the list are Hestia, Poseidon, and Aphrodite, mainly. All for a plethora of reasons that I won’t get into it now. Lovers--- Too many to list, again for many different reasons. As for an ideal partner, well. He likes confidence, people who are bold and exciting and can keep up with him. He likes people with power-- Whether that’s literally, as in people with status OR people who use their skills to get the advantage, ie intelligence, beauty, etc. He enjoys someone who feels safe around him and who he can be himself-- which, in all honesty, is rare considering who he’s supposed to be and what he is.
