omg saw some asks about arabic. like most people i too think it's a beautiful language, there's a lot of heart touching poems in arabic. i think i had a lesson for like a year or so when i was in elementary (and now i forgot mostly everything 😭) learned it again for a while in high school and i was frustrated 🥹 the grammar is quite complicated for me. but also it could be because i got overwhelmed by the alphabets in the first place (cant read anything without harakat and sometimes i still struggling with alphabet sounds that come from the throat, like khhhhh, ghhhhh, 'a). now the words that i remember and recognize are some of the common ones from the Quran
For me honestly I learnt it with the harakat because of the Quran and I thought that all Arabic was written with it ... my native languages are actually both Urdu and Punjabi so when I saw Arabic without the harakat I was SO CONFUSED ... I was like hUH I can read this but I can't ... understand it ... ?
I still get Urdu and Arabic confused sometimes ... like why are they written so similar wjdjwjdjwjxjjs
Thankfully I've always been able to pronounce the khhh and the gghhhhs very well though 😂😭 I find it so fun.
