I'd like to expand on my previous apology. I made an assumption about the trans experience in relation to privilege and I was wrong. I was basically guessing about something I have no personal experience with, and I shouldn't have done that. What I said was wrong, misleading, and hurtful. Unintentionally, and due to my ignorance, I was making an argument that was transmisogynistic. I'm horrified to have made such a mistake. As I said before, I should have just kept my mouth shut and let trans women speak for themselves and from their lived experience. Trans women struggle to be represented in feminism, and as someone who runs a feminist blog, I should have known better. To all trans women, I am so so so sorry for what happened. I want to thank all the people who pointed out how problematic and harmful I was being. I learned why what I was saying was wrong. Thank you for taking the time, even in your anger, to explain why I was wrong. I've learned a valuable lesson.
